A. SYNOPSIS
Freedom Writers is a film based on the true story of the struggle of a teacher in the New Port Beach , Long Beach , California , United States in reawakened her students to learn . Narrated , Gruwel Erin (played by Hillary Swank ) , a highly educated woman , came to Woodrow Wilson High School as an English teacher in classroom 203 , where there are diverse racial gang who always clustered , such as race frangipani , black , latin , and white , and warm when it was discussed about the issue of racism .In the early arrival of Erin , the students were not interested in his presence . Kabanyakan of them are not happy against white people . They assume that Erin did not know anything about their hard lives , life has always been under the shadow of war and violence . For them , life is how they survived the violence .Many of the challenges that must be faced by Erin , both of the racist school , until the husband and father . Discrimination by the school , such as the separation of classes , as well as differences in the facilities that exist between the white race and the races beyond that makes Erin sad . To be accepted by his protégé , Erin looking for a way to approach and appropriate teaching methods . D. MORAL LESSON
1. As a teacher, must be able to understand the characteristics of learners before the ongoing learning activities. By identifying the characteristics of learners, the teacher can determine the appropriate method or methods to be applied in order to achieve the learning goals expected.
2. As a teacher, it is necessary to resolve and high motivation to carry out teaching and learning activities. Teachers should not be easy to despair when one method that has been applied to an error, the teacher must be proficient and skilled in creating a fun learning atmosphere.
3. Various means can be used to draw attention to teacher her students, including by providing motivation, creating a game that can make learning more fun.
